Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Only two participants per institution are allowed.
- Participants must present a valid student ID card at the event venue.
- Prior registration is mandatory.
- The registration fee is Rs 150 per head.
General Rules
- Each participant is allowed a maximum of 4.5 minutes, excluding setup time.
- Participants must report at least 15 minutes before the competition begins.
- Use of vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate lyrics will result in immediate disqualification.
- Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
- Misbehaviour, disrespect, or any misconduct will lead to disqualification.
Performance Guidelines
- Participants must perform only Hindi or Kannada songs, restricted to either Classical or Filmy (movie-based) genres.
- Participants can sing with a backing track (instrumental only), with a live instrument (self-managed), or acappella.
- Pre-recorded vocals or autotune is not allowed.
- Backing tracks should be submitted in advance in MP3 format (via pen drive or email).
- The organizing team is not responsible for technical issues arising from personal devices or formats.
Judging Criteria
- Vocal skills (pitch, range, control).
- Expression and emotion.
- Clarity and diction.
- Overall presentation.
